Legacy of Totalitarianism Today

Invitation to the conference Legacy of Totalitarianism Today (Senate, Parliament of the Czech Republic in Prague, 12–13 June 2014)

The Institute for the Study of Totalitarian Regimes is participating on the international conference Legacy of Totalitarianism Today which will be hosted by the Senate Vice-President Ms Miluše Horská on 12–13 June 2014 in the Senate, Parliament of the Czech Republic in Prague. The conference programme and further information can be found on the website http://www.memoryandconscience.eu/conference2014/. During the conference, the Prize of the Platform of European Memory and Conscience will be presented to Mr Mustafa Dzhemilev, leader of the Crimean Tatar people, at a reception at Museum Kampa. As accompanying events, the films Katyń by Andrzej Wajda, courtesy of the Polish institute in Prague, and The Soviet Story by Edvīns Šnore will be screened at the European Commission Representation in the Czech Republic.
