Invitation to a press conference
Prague, November 6, 2009 – On the day marking the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Institute for the Study of Totalitarian Regimes and Security Services Archive will hold an exclusive press conference to present the latest additions to the Institute’s special Web project dedicated to the landmark year 1989 in Czechoslovakia.
THE PRESS CONFERENCE WILL TAKE PLACE ON NOVEMBER 9, 2009, 11:00 A.M., AT THE SEAT OF THE INSTITUTE FOR THE STUDY OF TOTALITARIAN REGIMES, SIWIECOVA 2, PRAGUE 3.

The Institute and Archive on Monday will become the first among post-communist countries to make public the list of staff servicemen of the former National Security Corps’ Main Intelligence Directorate (SNB Directorate I), including personnel ID cards and photographs. The Web Project will also unveil the personnel composition at foreign intelligence residenturas abroad as of November 17, 1989.

- Personnel composition of the Main Intelligence Directorate – SNB Directorate I and the Main Counterintelligence Directorate – SNB Directorate
- Video clips from anti-riot forces’ exercises
- Video clips from the suppression of protests (1988; January, October and November 1989)
